The Perfect Cosmopolitan
There’s something timeless about a Cosmopolitan. It’s bright, balanced, and chic—whether you’re hosting friends for a dinner party or enjoying a quiet evening at home. Use freshly squeezed lime juice and good-quality vodka—it makes all the difference. And remember, cocktails are always better when shared with friends
Ingredients
  • 1 cup good-quality vodka (chilled)
  • ½ cup triple sec or Cointreau
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • ½ cup cranberry juice (not from concentrate)
  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
Directions

Step 1: Shake It Up
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice—lots of ice. Add the vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, simple syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Secure the lid, then shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds until the shaker feels icy cold.

Step 2: Serve In Style
Strain the mixture evenly into four chilled martini glasses. (Chilling the glasses ahead of time makes this cocktail feel extra special.

Step 3: The Finishing Touch
Garnish each glass with a twist of lime peel or a few floating fresh cranberries for a touch of elegance.

Jonathon’s Tips

Serve these with a small bowl of salted marcona almonds and a plate of delicate cheese straws—because everything is better with a little something to nibble on.

“How easy is that? A classic Cosmopolitan never goes out of style.”

Cheers!
